Mysuru: A 55-member Bangladesh delegation, including 22 officials and their family members, headed by Maj. Gen. Aziz Ahmed, Director-General, Border Guard, Bangladesh, visited Mysuru on a one-day visit yesterday.
On their arrival from Bengaluru, the delegation first visited Mysore Palace where they were received by Palace Board officials who took them around the Amba Vilas Palace amidst tight security. The team also visited the Mysore Silk Factory on Manandavadi Road and Infosys in Hebbal before leaving for Srirangapatna. They returned to Bengaluru in the evening.
Devaraja Police Inspector Nagesh and Devaraja Traffic Inspector R.P. Ashok provided security to the delegates.
The team included Commodore Mohammed Nurul Absar, Director, Prime Minister’s Office, Bangladesh; Mohammed Bazlur Rahman, Director-General, Department of Narcotics Control, Bangladesh; Lutful Kabir Bhuiyan, Deputy Director General Commandant, Border Guard Training Centre and School, Chittagong; Syed Fazie Kader Ahmed, Deputy Director General, Headquarters Border Guard, Bangladesh and Kazi Nazir Hossain, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh.
