Mysore: The Mysore (East) Sub-Registrar Girish, and three others who had been arrested on charges of trying to grab prime property belonging to the scion of Mysore Royal family late Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar were denied bail by the Karnataka High Court.

This is after they had appealed a similar rejection handed down by the city’s Third Additional and Sessions Court (also known as Lokayukta Special Court).

Among those whose bail applications were rejected are BK Sundar, who had claimed the property as a gift deed, realtors R Mahadev and Ravikumar.

The four are presently lodged in Central Prison in Mysore since their arrest about a month ago.
