ATI scam guilty will be prosecuted, CM

Mysuru: The Government will take serious note of the alleged Rs. 100 crore scam at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in the city during the tenure of Dr. Amita Prasad as its Director-General (DG). The government is probing the matter and those found guilty, irrespective of their stature will be prosecuted as per law of the land, declared Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking after receiving a Guard of Honour from City Police at his Ramakrishna Nagar residence on his arrival from Kushalnagar on Wednesday November 5.

He added that the CID is also probing the assault on ATI DG V  Rashmi at ATI premises on Oct. 15 when she went there to pay her last respects to ATI Mess Manager Venkatesh, who was found dead in a sump at the ATI premises that morning.
