Mysuru: The fourth additional first civil Judge HR Ramya granted bail to BP Mahesh Chandra Guru, Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism, University of Mysore in connection with cased booked against him for allegedly supporting a call to burn Bhagavad Gita.
Judge Ramya granted him bail on personal bond of Rs 25,000 and equal sum as surety. Senior advocate Appaji Gowda appeared for Mahesh Chandra Guru. He was given rousing welcome by his supporters.
