Siddaganga mutt seer hospitalised, CM, BSY pay visit

Bengaluru: Siddaganga mutt seer, 109-year-old Shivakumara Swamiji has been admitted to BGS Global Hospitals in the city after he complained of illness on Friday, June 24.

Doctors went to Tumkur mutt to assess his health condition before he was taken to Bengaluru for treatment. He was admitted in the hospital after he complained of chest pain and mild fever.

He was not wheel chaired as he preferred to walk on his own despite illness .

His health condition is being closely monitored by the hospital doctors after he reluctantly agreed to get admitted in the hospital. According to doctors attending on him, his condition is stable. They have noticed a blockage in the bile duct and have advised rest for a week. 

Meanwhile, state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa visited the hospital to enquire about his health as many leaders are making a beeline to see him.
