Mysore: Reportedly illegal activities have been suspected on a land allocated for the police department in Gayathripuram Jyothi Nagar adjacent to the sports ground at Mysore.
According to the sources, the land that is around 70 acres is used by people to dope and drink. There are also temporary beds put up on the spot whereas bottles and other article that allege illegal activities have been found.
After the complaint was reported the former mayor Sandesha Swami along with the city corporation officials and the police authorities, visited and verified the location.
The city corporation assistant commissioner, Ravi Kumar; development officer, Aradhya; assistant engineer, Shiv; environmental engineer, Manjula; SI Yasmin Taj and others were present during the investigation.
