Mysuru: The All India Rural Postal Employees Association protested in front of Deputy Commissioner Office and urged to provide permanent jobs.

They also demanded that the Central Government should stop privatization of the Postal Department and urged to assure the basic facilities for the workers at Postal Department.
Speaking on the occasion President B Manjunathaswami said, “Rural Postal Employees do not get the facilities like weekly holiday, pension, promotions, and other facilities.”
He urged that the Central Government and State Government to provide the same facilities to the postal employees, he also demanded to drop the privatization of the Postal Department on the occasion.
Secretary J M Basavaraju, Treasurer Manchaiah, and others were present.
