Mysuru: Hundreds of angry students from the city under the banner of the Akhila Bharata Vidyarthi Parishad and the Dalit Sangarsha Samiti staged a protest in front of the DC office here on Thursday.

The students said that recent death of Additional Income tax officer DK Ravi was not natural and many political parties and other higher authority officials are involved in this case. With all these issues the State Government should handover this case to Central Bureau of Investigation.
A student Ashith said, “D K Ravi had succeeded in taking action against the mafia in Kolara district. Past two days the people across the nation are urging the stage government to hand over his unnatural death case to CBI but still CM is not ready to hand it over. Many of his moves make his death more suspicious,” he added.
“If your government is not corrupt then why your hesitating to give this case to CBI” he questioned..
The Dalit Sangarsha Samithi had also demanded the state government to handover the case to CBI for investigation, They said, “IAS Officer DK Ravi is not a fool to commit suicide but the state government and Bengaluru Commissioner and many other political leaders have planned to kill that honest officer”.
