Mysuru: A woman who was dejected over her alcoholic husband, committed suicide by setting herself on fire, here at Kannur village.

The deceased is identified as Sudha (27) from Bandehalli village in Bannur Hobli.
She was married to Udaya from Kannur village seven years ago.

Three days ago, Sudha borrowed some money from her parents’ and bought a pipe for using drinking water. Udaya, who had no money, sold the pipe and bought alcohol.

Dejected by seeing her husband’s behaviour, Sudha poured kerosene and set herself on fire and ended her life.
