Mysuru: The newly formed Anti Corruption Bureau made its entry in Mysuru when it caught a lady official of Mysuru City Corporation, who is in-charge of disbursal of stipend amount to eligible applicants of National Urban Livelihood Mission.

The nabbed lady official is Deena Deepak.
Under the central Government sponsored skill development programs each beneficiary gets Rs 4000 stipend. The lady official demanded a bribe of Rs 1000 each from 78 applicants who were eligible for stipend under the livelihood development programme. She had demanded Rs 25000 as advance to clear the papers to avail total stipend amount. However, when the applicant lodged a complaint with ACB they hatched a plot to nab the official in charge, accordingly Deena Deepak was caught red handed today.
After the raid ACB SP, Kavitha, one of the applicants on behalf of all the 78 eligible applicants had lodged a complaint 2 days ago with them.
