Shivamogga Witness Double Murder in Broad Daylight

Early on Friday morning, a watchman in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, is said to have been killed by a 22-year-old man. The attacker, identified as Mohammad Adil Azamali Sheikh, allegedly used a big stone to hit the 53-year-old watchman Prasad Bhanusingh Khadka when he refused to give him a matchstick. Around 1:45 in the morning, the incident happened at a rickshaw stand on Belapur Road.

Shivamogga: Two people were brutally murdered in broad daylight on a busy street in Shivamogga on Wednesday. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the city, took place in Lashkar Mohalla, near a popular mutton stall.

The deceased have been identified as Shoaib and Gouse, both residents of MMK Road and said to be involved in criminal activities. According to eyewitnesses, the two victims were riding a bike when they were waylaid by assailants on another motorcycle.

The attackers, armed with sharp weapons, launched a vicious assault on Shoaib and Gouse. After inflicting severe injuries, they bludgeoned the victims with stones before fleeing the scene.

The entire incident happened in daylight and left  bystanders and local shopkeepers in a state of terror. Kote police rushed to the crime scene and gathered information. 

While the motive behind the killings remains unclear, police suspect it could be linked to a past rivalry between the victims and the assailants.
