Shivamogga: A teenager, who was into drug peddling and other anti-social activities was hacked to death in broad daylight in Shivamogga on Wednesday.

Bajja alias Inayath is the deceased. He is the son of rowdy-sheeter Nazru who was hacked to death sevral years ago and Inayath followed his father’s footstep claiming that he wanted avenge his father’s death.

After finishing his studies six months ago, he started ganja peddling and soon came to be known in the notorious circles.

Couple of days ago, Inayath had launched a fatal attack on one Shahid Pasha near Ayanoor Gate. He was then put behind bars and within 20 days he was out on bail.

It is said that on Wednesday afternoon he had come to his house, but when his mother did not open the door instantly, a raged Inayath had left the house and come to Annanagar area, where he was attacked by miscreants with lethal weapons.

The locals say that with Inayath’s death, vengeance killings in Shivamogga will continue.
