Hassan: Unable to tolerate bigamy by her husband, the first wife took revenge by dragging the second wife on the streets of Hassan to expose the misdeeds of her husband, on January 23.
Prabhakar was married to Soumya eight years ago and had a son from her. But, over a period of time, he befriended Vijayalakshmi and continued meeting her. When Soumya learnt of her husband’s affair, the matter reached police station some time ago. Both were warned that time and let off by the police after the couple gave a letter in writing 20 days ago.

Despite the warning, the man continued his relationship with Vijaylakshmi and secretly married her too throwing the caution to winds. Unable to bear her husband’s action, first wife Soumya dragged the second fiddle Vijayalaksmi on the streets of Hassan and assaulted her.

The Women’s police station personnel have registered a case in connection with the street brawl between two wives.
