Chikkamagaluru: Superintendent of Police Annamalai has already shown his mettle. But, recently in Chikkamagaluru, Annamalai donned the cap of a cleanliness crusader as he made sure that a group that rejoiced over a Kannada film by bursting crackers did its bit thereafter.
It is said that during release of a latest Kannada film named ‘Lee’, some promotional team burst crackers outside Nagalakshmi theatre in the city. SP Annamalai, who spotted the same called upon the people who were wearing the movie T-Shirts and asked them who will take the responsibility of cleaning the place after they rejoice and leave.

Soon, he directed the T-Shirt donning team to sweep away all the paper bits that were flying away after the crackers were burst.

The people of Chikkamagaluru got yet another reason to respect the super cop, who has been leaving behind a distinct mark in every place that he has served.
