Chikkamagaluru: Following the conclusion of the Lok Sabha election in the state, many leaders relaxed on Wednesday. Some chose to go on vacation, while others remained at home gathering information on voter turnout from party workers.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar flew to Chikkamagaluru and stayed at a resort with his brother DK Suresh, Kunigal MLA Ranganath, and Ramanagar MLA Iqbal Hussein.
Police provided security to the resort, and the media was not allowed to meet him. He avoided the media and did not take questions on BJP leader Devaraje Gowda’s allegations that he was behind the release of a pen drive containing obscene videos.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah flew to Ooty to take a rest. The CM had been on a continuous campaign trail since the announcement of the election. It is said that he will be back in Bengaluru tomorrow.
