Chikkamagaluru: Firebrand state BJP politician and Chikkamagaluru MP, Shobha Karnandlaje sprang a surprise on Rakshabandhan day by tying Rakhi to Superintendent of Police, Annamalai at his office in Chikkamagaluru on August 18.
She went to the district SP’s office in the town and celebrated Raksha Bandhan day. On the occasion, she asked, first to tie Rakhi and then work towards security of the nation.
She appreciated ABVP’s efforts in organizing protests against anti national elements involved in sloganeering at an event hosted by Amnesty India at United Theological college campus in Bengaluru. She accused the state government of caning innocent students and shielding the guilty. She urged, those involved in anti India sloganeering be arrested soon. She said congress leader Digvijay Singh’s tweets and amnesty issue is of very serious nature and accused the congress of supporting anti national elements.
