Yadgiri: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar stated that if former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy truly respects women, he should first meet the victims of Prajwal’s alleged sex scandal and console them.
Speaking to reporters before participating in the Prajadwani-2.0 rally in Yadgiri, Shivakumar responded to Kumaraswamy’s allegation that he was behind the entire episode. He said, “Devrajegowda, a BJP leader, whom did he meet first? As per my information, he met HD Kumaraswamy first, and he shared this information with the BJP leaders as well. If we wanted to release the pendrives, we could have done it differently. But we don’t need such tactics. However, we will not remain silent and will speak on this issue in the coming days.”
Regarding Suraj Revanna, the brother of Prajwal, meeting him, DK Shivakumar admitted that Suraj had met him. However, he suggested reporters to Suraj, why he met him and what they discussed.
