Kalaburagi: Sunilkumar, one of the four under trials who escaped from Kalaburagi Central Jail on Wednesday, March 23 has reported surrendered himself on Wednesday evening (after a week).

It may be recalled four under trials had escaped the jail after knocking down a part of a two-foot high boundary wall.

It is said that Sunilkumar was hiding in Hyderabad since a week and on his surrender, he has been handed him over to Fartabad Police Station which is the jurisdictional police station at about 5.30 pm.

A high-level team of police is interrogating Sunilkumar.

Other undertrials who were not yet traced are Shivakumar, Lakshman H and Tajuddin. Sunilkumar who was involved in kidnapping and raping a minor was in jail since the past three years.
