Kalaburagi: Two sleeper buses from a private company in Kalaburagi city went up in flames near Mahfil-e-Khas Dhaba on Hagaraga Road on a Saturday.
The fire completely destroyed two buses that were parked alongside each other. This incident filled the vicinity with dense smoke, causing a sense of alarm among the onlookers. Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the fire, preventing additional damage.
Police authorities, including DCP Kanika Shekriwal and ACP Rajanna, conducted an on-site inspection. A formal complaint has been lodged at the Kalaburagi University police station, and the police have initiated an investigation.
