Bidar: The summer vacation is over and schools have started. However, the rooms of more than 69 schools in the Taluk are under repair and have not been repaired even though the schools have started functioning. This has worried parents who send their children to government schools.

There are 207 primary and 37 secondary schools in the taluk. While many schools lack infrastructure, many primary and secondary schools are in a dilapidated condition during the rainy season. Thus, it is inevitable for children to continue their studies.

It was brought to the notice of the authorities that the school building was damaged. It was expected that it would be repaired at least during the summer vacation. But that has not been fulfilled. This has created a situation where our children are studying in fear of their lives,” said a parent of one of the students.
Of these, 69 rooms have come up for repairs and almost all of them are schools in rural areas. But on the other hand, the school grounds turn into lakes due to the rains. In some other places, there are a large number of schools in the taluk without drinking water and toilets.

There are 255 students in Talamadagi government school and six repairs have been carried out in a total of 13 rooms in the school. 14 rooms in Chinakera and Sonakera schools six rooms have been repaired.
