Hubballi: Roopa Shivalli, younger daughter of former minister C S Shivall who had appeared for CBSE class X examination a day after her father’s demise secured first class in the examination

CBSE announced class X results on Monday, May 6.

Shivalli had breathed his last on March 22 and on March 23, his younger daughter Roppa who had appeared for the examination secured 76%.

She was a student of KLE college in Manjunath Nagara of the city.

After knowing the result Roopa celebrated with family members and friends. She informed that her father always wanted her to be a DC and she will try to realise it.

Recalling the examination day she said, her father had nurtured a lot of dreams for her and those dreams motivated her to write the examination a day after his death.

On March 23, she arrived at the examination centre after attending the final rites of her father who died of a cardiac attack.
