Hubballi: Prajwal Revanna, the MP for Hassan and a JD(S) leader facing allegations of involvement in a sex scandal, has been suspended from the party. The decision to expel him was made at a core committee meeting held in the city on Tuesday. The meeting, led by core committee chairman GT Deve Gowda, informed JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda of the decision.
Former CM Kumaraswamy, speaking to reporters, stated that if the SIT proves Prajwal guilty in the alleged sex tape controversy, he will be permanently expelled from the party.
He alleged that the deputy chief minister is behind Prajwal Revanna’s alleged sex tape controversy and demanded that he should be sacked. He asked, “Where is the proof? Prajwal’s face was not seen in the videos.” He emphasized that despite this, the party has taken action on moral grounds.
