Hubbali: Karnataka Information Minister Roshan Baig and three High Court judges, had a lucky escape when the SpiceJet flight they were travelling from Bengaluru to Hubbali veered off the runway at the Hubballi Airport on Sunday, March 8. There were 77 passengers on board.

According to the authorities the incident occured at 7.30 p.m when the tyre of Spicejet flight SG 1085 got deflated on landing of the aircraft skidded and went nearly 50 metres off the main tarmac.

Some passengers said that they thought that the plane had lost control.
