Dharwad: Karnataka University in Dharwad has achieved a significant milestone, adding to its list of accomplishments. “We take immense pride in announcing that Karnataka University, Vidyakashi Dharwad, has secured the top position among the 19 government universities in the state and has attained a global banking ranking between 1,000 and 1,200,” stated Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.B. Gudasi.
The Times Higher Education Magazine (TH), based in London, has published a list of the world’s leading universities for the current year. They have ranked universities in 108 different countries around the globe.
A comprehensive research system for global universities, involving over 2,673 educational institutions worldwide, was conducted. This evaluation encompassed 18 key indicators, such as teaching quality, research environment, research excellence, industry engagement, and international outlook. Remarkably, among Karnataka’s universities, only three were acknowledged for their participation, and we take great pride in noting that Karnataka University, Dharwad, was one of them.
