Udupi: An incident of an electric scooter that was parked in the veranda of the house catching fire accidentally and completely burning down has occurred in Shankarpur. An electric scooter was parked in the veranda of the house. As the family members were watching, fire suddenly broke out on the scooter and within a few moments, the scooter was completely engulfed in flames.

Thick smoke had enveloped the veranda of the house. The fire killed seven birds that were in a cage inside the house. It is reported that various equipment, including agricultural machinery and a pump set, were also damaged, causing a loss of more than three lakhs.
