Kundapur: Congress leaders and workers took out a massive padayatra from Kota Block Congress office to Saligrama bus stand on Sunday May 7 to seek votes in favour of Congress Candidate Dinesh Hegde Molahalli.

Speaking on the occassion he said “Now the BJP is scared about the Congress guarantee card. If our Government comes to power, the guarantee given by us will be passed in the first cabinet meeting itself. If the Congress does not implement the guarantee after coming to power, we will not seek votes in the next elections. Will the BJP also take such a decision if the guarantee is implemented?,” he asked.

The Congress party treats all religions and castes equally and the BJP is spreading misinformation out of fear of losing, he said and added that the Congress has no proposal to ban the Bajrang Dal except that it has taken legal action against an organisation opposing the provisions of the Constitution.
