Udupi: Udupi District Congress Committee Sunday May 7 organised a campaign bike rally for Congress candidate Prasad Raj Kanchan in the wake of the Assembly elections.

The bike rally started from Rama Bhajana Mandir in Paduthonse Bengre and ended near Kalmadi Church via Hooda to Gujjarbettu to Thottam to Vadabhandeshwar Circle via Raja Road to Eluru Mogaveera Sabha Bhavan.

Later, activists and Congress leaders participated in a huge public meeting at Nadar.

This rally with a large number of workers started from Ram Bhajan Mandir in Paduthonse Bengre and went from Hooda to Gujjarbettu via Thottam to Vadabhandeshwar Circle via Raja Road to Eluru Mogaweera Sabhabhavan and finished near Kalmadi Church.

Niket Raj Mourya was the main speaker. Congress candidate Prasad Raj Kanchan, Kerala MP Prathapan, KPCC General Secretary M. A. Gafoor, Udupi Block Congress President Ramesh Kanchan, District Congress Vice President Prakyat Shetty, NSUI Vice President Sarath and others were present.
