Karkala: Thieves broke into a mobile shop and robbed cellphones valued at Rs 10 lakh near the three road junction in Karkala on Thursday.

The mobile shop ‘Connect Point’ belongs to one Vinod Kini.

The thieves broke open the locks of the shutter and gained entry into the showroom. The thieves hand-picked high end and expensive mobile phones like Lava, Micromax, Nokia and Samsung.

The dog squad, and finger print experts came to the spot and collected information. A complaint has been registered at city police station.
