Officer takes special interest to tackle rise in Dengue, Malaria cases

Karkala: Chief Officer of Town Municipal Council, Rayappa has given special importance to maintian cleanliness in the area, after many Dengue, Malaria cases were reported in this rainy season.
rayappaExtensive precautionary measures like clearance of tender coconut shells, repeated fogging, spraying of chemicals, clearance of drains, removal of silt from drains, preventing people from dumping of waste to regulate spread of these diseases has been undertaken by the administration.

From last one week under special awareness programmes, the cutting grass and bush clearance has been undertaken.

The work has been completed at Karkala city police stion area, rural police station, Circle inspector office, DySP office, police quarters, government quarters, Taluk government hospital, Naxal prevention camp area. Remaining places will be covered in the coming days, said national award winner Chief Officer of Town Municipal Council, Rayappa.
