Karkala: The Karkala police have arrested rowdy-sheeter William Dspuza alias Vally (43) here on May 21.
The rowdy-sheeter from Darbaje near Nitte Attur church was arrested from his house by the Karkala rural police and team. They have recovered 40 live bullets and two knives from the accused.

William is said to be an aide of underground don Koraga Vishwanatha Shetty and has carried out several crimes in Udupi and Mumbai. He was pretending to be a good person at his house. He used to roam around with knives hidden in his pants.

He is accused of assault, molesting girls, communal hatred, illegal sale of liquor, threatening and protecting thieves.

A case has been registered at the Karkala police station.
