Udupi: Police recovered two bodies from different places recently, one from the banks of the Shambhavi river and the other from seashore at Mattu.

The body recovered at river bank is of a 17-year-old girl and the body found at sea shore was said to be of 22-year-old man named Pradeep.

The girl’s body was found on Thursday September 5th, where as the man’s body was recovered on Friday at Mattu village. Earlier a kidnapping case was filed by the girl’s parents.

It is learnt that, they were lovers and together they might have committed suicide.

A case has been registered in the Padubidri police station. Investigation is on.
