Udupi: The Indian national congress women’s wing, District unit staged protest demanding immediate arrest of Minister’s son Karthik, over the Karthik- Myathari Saga at Clock tower on Saturday, September 6.  

The protesters demand the arrest of Karthik and said that the investigation must be done on the basis of truth. They also demanded the resignation of Union Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda.

Varonica Carnalio, from the women wing president said that BJP on every occasion speak about protecting the women however if that is true why have the leaders of BJP kept quite over the issue, she questioned.

Let Shobha Karnlaje break her silence and clarify about the involvement of BJP in cheating the woman, she added.
