Udupi: The wife, Rajeshwari Shetty who is accused of killing her husband Bhaskar Shetty will remain in judicial custody for some more days. The Udupi court has extended the judicial custody of the accused by 14 days. The incident had happened in July this year in Hayagreevanagara which is under Manipal police station.

Udupi court has also extended the custody of Srinivas Bhat and Raghavendra, the father and driver respectively of another prime accused, Niranjan Bhat for the same 14 days. Niranjan Bhat was in CID net for past four days and will continue to remain in the same place for two additional days as per the court’s order.

In association with the same case, the CID have taken Navaneeth Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty’s son into custody for two days. CID asked the court to give the two accused, a custody for five days but the court took a decision to limit it to two days.

Belvai Arun Bangera, Lawyer of Rajeshwari and Navaneeth asked the court not to give Navaneeth to CID since he is suffering from health problems at the moment. The plea was rubbished by the court.
