Mangalore :Yuvasamavesh – 2014 had a grand opening here on August 10, at Rosario Church Hall. The  programme was inaugurated in a very innovative way by opening a book with the theme ‘Youth,the hope of tomorrow.’ This was followed by a talk by Prof Alwyn D’Sa.

Rev Fr. Valerian Menezes, Mangalore Diocese Judicial Vicar presided over the function. Judith Crasta, Law Officer, Mangalore division was the chief guest for the day.

Ivan D’Souza, MLC,  Fr. Ronald D’Souza, ICYM Central Council Director, Raymond D’Souza, National ICYM Advisor, Melreeda Rodrigues, ICYM Central Council President, Fr. Santhosh Lobo, ICYM Episcopal City Deenary Director,  Sharol Monteiro, RYM Rosario unit President, Jonita Rasquinha- ICYM ECD President and  Rubeena Pinto, ICYM ECD Secretary were also present.

In the afternoon, there was an  entertainment session which included cultural programmes, games and group activities. The programme was concluded with Baila session.
