Mangaluru: In an incident of shame, a youth molested a German girl who had come for a research to the district.

The accused has been identified as Mohammed Mustafa from Harekala. The incident was reported at Deralakatte here on September 23.

It is gathered that the 18-year-girl from Germany had visited Paniyooru Ashrama in Deralakatte for the purpose of research. After her visit to Ashrama, while she was walking on the road, the youth who appeared in-front molested her. While the girl raised an alarm, the locals caught the accused, thrashed him and handed him over to Konaje police.
