Mangalore: A group allegedly attacked a youth here at Vamanjoor who is said to be a notorious person in the area on Thursday.

Praveen Carlo (26) suffered multiple injuries in his stomach and head. The attackers fled the scene after assaulting him.

The exact reason for the assault is not yet known.
