Puttur: In a shocking incident a youth from Kalpane near Uppinangady was allegedly kidnapped, compelled into gay sex on Thursday February 13.

Reportedly the victim a resident of Kootelu was waiting for a vehicle at the bypass road so that he could reach home. It is learnt that a Maruti Omni vehicle loomed towards him and offered him a lift till Kootelu.

According to the victim’s complaint, there were in total three men in the vehicle including the driver, they then threatened him and kidnapped. They also made him consume alcohol after which forced him into gay sex.However the youth managed to escape from the lodge.

A case has been registered at Uppinangady police station. During the investigation it was found that the accused had given his identity as ‘Narayan from Puttur’ while renting a room in the lodge. Further investigation is on.
