Newskarnataka – Kasargod

Kasargod : A tragic road mishap reported from Cherkala on Sunday May 18 night claimed the life of a young bike rider. The deceased is Munawwar (18), son of Abdul Khader of Bevinje.

The accident occurred when the bike which Munawwar was riding collided with another bike and he fell on the road.  He was then run over by a speeding goods lorry which happened to come that way.

A critically injured Munavvar was rushed to Kasargod Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have seized the bike and lorry that caused the accident. The body was handed over to relatives after a post mortem at Kasargod General Hospital.

The deceased Munavvar had studied at the Chattanchal Higher Secondary School.
