Newskarnataka – Kasargod

Manjeshwar : A 53 year old man who was travelling in an autorickshaw with his wife, was killed when  a speeding car  collided against the autorickshaw from the rear end  near Uppala gate on  May 19, Monday morning.

The deceased is Andunhi alias Abdulla (53), a street vendor who sold fruits at Hosangady. The mishap occurred at around 7.30 am when Andunhi was returning home with his wife Beepathima after taking her for a check-up at a hospital in Uppala. A seriously injured Andunhi though was rushed to a hospital, he did not respond to treatment.

The car was heading towards Mangalore from Kasargod. Andunhi’s wife Beepathima and relative Harrif who were in the autorickshaw escaped unhurt.
