Mangaluru: The city is observing a bandh today after many anti Yettinahole project organisations called for it as a protest against the Yettinahole water diversion project and the larger Netravathi River diversion project.

The vehicular movement is reportedly less. Private buses have stayed off the road. Shops remained close in the morning. Only milk parlours were open.

A tyre-burning incident was reported at Pumpwell in the city.
