Mangalore:The Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada N Prakash inaugurated the World Tourism day in the Ravindra Kala Kshetra of the University college today.
Mr. Prakash in his inaugural address said “There is ample scope for the development of tourism in the DK and district administrations has put efforts to make DK as a tourism destination.”
Udayavani bureau chief Manohar Prasad, Panambur beach tourism development project CEO Yatish Baikampady, University College Tourism department head Dasharath P Angady, Nirmala Travels director Nirmala C Kamath, Tourism Department officer Chikkamatur and KCCI member Vatika Kamath were present at the occasion.
The tourism day celebration was organized by the college in association with Dept. of tourism, KSTDC, Jungle Lodges and Resorts Mangalore.
