Mangaluru: A 33-year-old woman from the Kasba village in the Bantwal taluk was discharged from the Wenlock Hospital after recovering from COVID-19 on Monday, May 11.
With this, a total of 14 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the Wenlock Hospital. So far, the district has reported 31 novel coronavirus cases.
The woman, who was discharged today, is the daughter of the 67-year-old woman who succumbed to the disease recently. Her mother’s death was the third that was reported from the Dakshina Kannada district.
Meanwhile, the reports of 124 throat swabs that were sent for COVID-19 testing came back negative today. However, a total of 68 fresh throat swabs were sent for testing today and the results of a total of 128 samples are awaited.
