Moodabidri: A lady, who had accidentally slipped into a well was saved due to the timely intervention of the fire personnel, on Saturday at Keregundi near Belvai in Moodabidri.

Shobha (45), wife of Ananda Anchan, is the person who had lucky escape even after falling into a 60 ft deep well.

Shobha fell into the well by accident on Saturday morning and immediately the fire personnel were called in.

The fire fighters who rushed to the spot managed to take out Shobha from the well safely.

The locals have lauded Fire personnel Praveen, Yogish and driver Chandrashekar for reaching the spot on time and carrying out the operation.
