Mangaluru: In an major accident, a lady died and another person was injured near KPT on April 12.
The lady riding pillion on a motorbike died on the spot. The lady is identified as Kamarunisa(26). The rider who suffered injuries Naufal(30) has been shifted to a nearby hospital. Both are residents of Gurupura.

The incident occured when a speeding lorry rammed into their two wheeler.

Meanwhile, MLA Moideen Bawa who was passing by to attend a programme stopped his vehicle and coordinated with the officials present at the accident spot. He also visited the hospital and made necessary arrangements for the treatment of the injured.

Police case has been registered in Kadri East traffic police station.
