Mangalore :During a press meet held on Wednesday, January 8 at Sanghaniketan hall,Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) President Dr. Pravin Togadia criticized the present state govt for the Anti-Superstition Bill and said that the Hindus have been taken for granted by the Congress. The govt has also taken control over the temples and maths which is not tolerable.Muslims were responsible for most of the riots and communal violence across India,he said.



He lashed out at U.S.based evangelist Benny Hinn, who is expected to attend a three-day prayer conference in Bangalore from on January 15 and he asked the govt not to permit his visit. He also criticized the Govt for not imposing any section on the criminals of Deralakatte incident as it is protecting the Muslims.
Dr Togadia discussed various issues including cattle slaughter in coastal Karnataka and setting up Goshala in the temple town.
Sharan Pumpwell, Bajrang Dal leader, Jagadish Shenava ,district president and many others were present in the press meet.
