Mangalore:  The four accused in the case of the broad daylight murder of Varun (19) at Urva recently, have surrendered before the court on Saturday May 24.

Those who surrendered are Ashrith alias Asu(20), son of former corporator Bajilakeri Kamalaksha and Hoigebail Longlane resident, Abhilash alias Abhi (21) of the same area, Karthik (21) of Ashoknagar and Vikas alias Vikki(18) of Bolur Sultan Batheri.

All the accused surrendered before the 3rd JMFC Court through their advocate and the court has sent them to judicial custody. Meanwhile, Urva police are likely to appeal to the court to entrust them to police custody for higher interrogation.

The murder took place on Thursday May 22, which also happened to be the birthday of the victim Varun.
