Mangaluru: Valentine D’souza, the former police inspector at city crime branch(CCB) Mangaluru has been promoted as deputy superintendent of police(DySP) in City Crime Record Bureau, Mangaluru by State department of home affairs.

D’souza earlier worked as Sub-inspector in Udupi, Kota, Honnavar, Bhatkal and as circle inspector in Bantwal, Terikere, Kundapur, Panambur and Karkala.

Valentine D’ Souza hails from Kallianpur Santhekatte in Udupi district. He has played a vital role in taking strict action against underworld and crime world elements and has rendered his best services to maintain law and order in the city.
