Mangaluru: Ullal police arrested a 37-year-old person in connection with an alleged sexual harassment case on Monday, October 8.

The arrested has been identified as Abdul Latheef Khader, a resident of Uppala in Kasargod district. According to the police sources, the accused and victim have been working for a company, located at Kotekar Beeri. The accused sexually harassed the woman, when she was alone at the office on October 8. It is also alleged that the accused threatened of dire consequences if she discloses about the episode to anybody.

A case has been registered at Ullal Police station under the IPC sections of 341, 354(A), 354 and 506.
