Mangaluru: Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader said on Sunday that water sports centre at Ullal beach will soon be constructed.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said that the necessary permission for the construction had been granted.

He also said that the water sports centre will be built to promote tourism in the region.

“Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports Abhayachandra Jain has sanctioned Rs 1 crore for the centre, which will be maintained through an organisation. The centre will have speed boat, jet skiing, surfing, and other water sports activities,” he added.
