Mangaluru: We tend to lose on many simple happiness once we hold positions of power. However, keeping all that aside, Minister for Health UT Khader was seen on the shores of Ullal on Friday, enjoying the mighty waves, just like any other person.
Donning a beach casual and armed with life jacket, UTK spent hours playing and swimming in the sublime Ullal beach.
“During my childhood I used to have a lot of fun here” recalled the Minister who is making his presence felt through his outstanding work as Minister for Health.
UTK also remembered an unfortunate mishap in which he lost his friend, when he was a student of class 8.
His visit was planned as a part on ongoing summer camp, under which over 200 children were being trained in swimming by local youth.
Always having been known for his simplicity, even on Friday, Khader mixed with the people around like a common man and was seen having gala time.
A group of 30 youth are training children between 8 to 15 years every morning between 6 am to 8 am and UTK’s visit and words of appreciation from him has only come as a big boost to the youth who have ventured into doing something different.
